A fresh Chatroulette alternative for random video chat
Chatroulette made webcam roulette famous: press a button, meet a random person, press again to move on. NextStranger keeps that simple loop and wraps it in a cleaner, mobile-friendly interface you can open straight from your browser.
Start Video ChatWhy people look beyond Chatroulette
Many users love the roulette format but want something that feels current: a layout that works well on phones, visible safety information and a quick way to start without creating a profile. That is the gap NextStranger is designed to fill.
Why try NextStranger instead of Chatroulette?
The same roulette idea
One click to meet someone new, one click to go next. No feeds, no followers, just live conversations.
Runs in your browser
Nothing to install. Open NextStranger on desktop or mobile, allow your camera and start.
Report button in every chat
If someone breaks the rules you can leave instantly and report the conversation.
Webcam roulette, made simple again
The appeal of roulette-style chat has always been surprise. You never know who appears next: a student practising English, a traveller killing time, someone who just wants to laugh for a few minutes. NextStranger is built around that moment of discovery and tries to remove everything that slows it down.
When you open the chat you only choose a display name and confirm you are 18 or older. The platform then looks for another available person and connects you through a direct one-to-one video call. If the conversation is not a fit, the NEXT button takes you to someone else.
If you used Chatroulette in the past and want to try a different community, NextStranger is a free option worth testing. Read the Safety Center first, keep personal details private and leave any chat that makes you uncomfortable.
